Red Sorrel

Green sorrel is a perennial herbaceous plant with a bushy development. The lanceolate foliage is characterized by its pleasant acidulous flavour.

The fresh leaves are excellent to eat raw to flavor salads! The more mature ones can instead be cooked in a pan or boiled, together with other herbs, and served like spinach.
