Widely appreciated species for its pleasant rose scent, this Pelargonium is characterized by its jagged and slightly tomentose foliage.

The flowers are small and mauve in color.

Traditionally grown in southern Italy as a garden plant, where it is known by the common name of hollyhock. In this regard, there are several popular recipes of sweets, infusions and compotes made with its aromatic foliage.

The essential oils contained in the vegetation of this Pelargonium make it particularly interesting for the perfume industry.

Aromatic pelargonium originates from South Africa and, it seems that, in defense of wild animals, they had to develop a range of intense and very different aromas; here the first thing that differentiates the varieties is the scent, then the leaves and flowers, also declined in a thousand shapes and colors.
