Physalis is a perennial shrub native to South America.

The fruit of this variety, the so-called "alchechengio", is rich in vitamins, such as vitamin C and provitamin A, iron, phosphorus and proteins.

The alchechengi can be eaten fresh, when it reaches the typical yellow-orange color, or as processed, such as in jams.

  • Our aromatic herbs are sold in vase diameter 12 cm (unless specified exceptions)
  • We are all certified bio!
  • Useful advice on Alchechengi? Water your plant regularly! This will allow it to produce abundant fruit throughout the summer.
