Lovage is a perennial plant with an upright habit.
A great culinary herb, all parts of the plant have a celery flavour and it can be grown for use as a substitute.Also used in the past as popular medicine.
Fresh eaves can flavor omelettes, risotto, soups, meats, chicken. Its ripe seeds are also used in liqueurs and salads.
