Lemon grass

Cymbopogon citratus is a perennial species, native to the Tropics.

Its tightly packed tufts of leaves give off a pleasant citrus scent when broken or rubbed.

Cymbopogon citratus leaves can be dried to prepare delicious infusions to drink like tea or chopped fresh to flavor your salads. Use the fresh stems at the base of the plant to flavor salads, fruit salads and sauces: just cut them thinly!
