Wasabi

Wasabi is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Japan, where it grows spontaneously in the mountains near rivers.

It is precisely from the rhizome of this plant that the famous green spicy paste called Wasabi, used in Japanese cuisine and widely appreciated around the world. However, the leaves and stems of this variety can also be consumed in salads, which also act as a splendid aromatic decoration.
